The Guild is an auxiliary of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and you can help make it a success. ULGA Guild depends on volunteers to satisfy the goals of the organization. Your participation on a committee of your choice will assist the Guild in meeting its responsibilities and goals. Even a committee that may appear to only need one person needs a second person who may share the duties in case of illness, travel or other commitments of the other person.


Executive – Membership includes all elected officers of the Guild and conducts business of the Guild during other than business sessions.


Program – Responsible for developing strategy for community service and volunteerism programs designed to support the affiliate’s effort to empower the citizens in our communities to achieve their full socio-economic potential.


Fund Development – Responsible for planning and executing fundraising activities in conjunction with the ULGA CEO, Board, ULGA Guild Executive Committee and Guild members.


Membership – Responsible for planning and implementing activities to recruit members and retain existing members.


Nominating – Responsible for preparing a slate of candidates for election to office and ensuring that qualifications are met. Members may be elected or appointed by the President.


Hospitality – Responsible for spreading cheer and sunshine where needed. Greet attendees at Guild/Affiliate sponsored events, introduce new members and guests at Guild meetings. Organizes and hosts social events.
